Business Development Intern
We are looking for Business Development Intern who is passionate about changing the way how students get internships. The BD Intern will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with students, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.
Stipend Expectations:
6-10k/Month
What are your responsibilities?
Lead Generation:
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new market opportunities
- Generating leads via cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities
- Identifying references through the existing customer base to increase the sales pipeline.
Closing
- Generating new opportunities & nurturing the opportunities generated
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Thoroughly understand the product offering and advocate it by tailoring to the student requirements
- Understand the student requirements and convert opportunities into customers
Administration
- Managing pre-sales to post-sales support activities for the assigned
- Ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached
- Bring market & consumer insights to influence product & offering
What are the job requirements?
Background: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Working Hours: Flexible 30 Hours/Week
Necessary Skills & Experience
- Experience in sales, marketing, or related field
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
